From a single site to a portfolio across Auckland
Pillar was founded in 2019, building on more than seven years of prior experience in residential construction. The aim was simple. Build the kind of homes we would want to live in, at price points that make sense, and treat the people buying them the way we would want to be treated.
By 2023 we were running more than fifteen active sites at once across greater Auckland. That scale taught us how to plan, consent and build with a steadiness that smaller one-off projects rarely reach.
By 2026 we have delivered more than 600 homes and over $200 million in gross development value. We are a full-lifecycle developer, which means we own every stage. Site acquisition and feasibility. Resource consents and community planning. Construction of multi-unit townhouses and standalone homes. Direct sales of completed and off-the-plan homes. And project management all the way through to certification.
